Order Terms

1. Scope of Service Terms

• You may access and use the Global Sources application ("Application") and related services (collectively, "Services") in accordance with these service terms and any other rules and policies posted on the site/application (including the Privacy Policy) (collectively, the "Service Terms" or "Terms and Conditions").
• By using this site/application, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and any documents referenced herein. We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time.
• References to "Global Sources" or "we" refer to Publishers Representatives Limited or other companies within the Global Sources group (as applicable).
• We will collect, use, store, and disclose any personal data you provide in accordance with the Global Sources Privacy Policy.
• These terms and conditions do not create any relationship between you and Global Sources (such as partnership, collaboration, employment, or other relationship). These terms and conditions do not grant you any rights to act as a representative of Global Sources.

2. Eligibility and Authorization

• At least 18 years of age or older.
• Have a valid credit/debit card and/or a valid bank account issued/maintained by a licensed bank or financial institution recognized by Global Sources, for payment purposes.
• Provide valid and accurate personal and payment details (email address, real name, telephone number, billing information, and other required information as indicated on the site/application).
• By placing an order with us, you authorize Global Sources to charge one or more payments from your credit/debit card/bank account for the total order amount. You also expressly authorize us to use your personal information for proper anti-fraud checks, such as credit checks, and to transmit or obtain your information from third parties (including but not limited to credit reference or anti-fraud agencies) where necessary, which may keep a record of such information. 3. Product Description and Availability

• All product images, specifications, descriptions, and standards are provided by suppliers. We will take all reasonable steps to ensure that all product details, descriptions, and prices on the site/application are accurate and up to date. We do not guarantee that the product images and other details you see are completely accurate; for example, the color of the actual product may differ from what is shown on the site/application.
• Product prices displayed on the site/application are set by suppliers. However, pricing errors may occasionally occur. If a supplier notifies us of an incorrect price for a product you ordered, we will contact you. You may choose to reconfirm your order at the correct price, otherwise the order will be canceled. Prices may change at any time, and promotions may be withdrawn at any time.
• All orders are subject to product availability and the price confirmed by the supplier. Products in your order are not reserved and may be purchased by other buyers. Even if a product is out of stock, it may still be displayed on the site/application.

4. Price

• Prices displayed on the site/application are in US dollars (USD).
• If your credit/debit card or bank account is not denominated in USD, your card issuer or bank will determine the final price charged in your currency based on the applicable exchange rate on the transaction date.
• Taxes and duties applicable to your order depend on the destination country/region. For customers in countries/regions where Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) is applied, we only charge the product price (excluding taxes and duties) and shipping costs. Customers are responsible for paying all import taxes and duties levied by the destination country/region, and payment of such taxes and duties is a prerequisite for customs clearance after the product arrives. We recommend contacting your local customs office before placing an order to determine import taxes and duties.

5. Payment

• You should pay the supplier directly in USD via PayPal.
• We do not retain any credit/debit card or bank account details used for payment, and we are not responsible for any loss resulting from unauthorized access to your data by third parties.

6. Delivery

• Delivery will be carried out by the supplier or a third-party courier as instructed by the supplier. We will do our best to ensure that all ordered products are shipped within 14 working days after the order is placed and accepted. If the supplier requests an extension of the processing period and both the buyer and Global Sources agree, ordered products may take up to 27 working days to be shipped.
• You are responsible for complying with all requirements from your local customs authorities for your order (including providing identification information to receive the order). We recommend understanding local import duties and other requirements before placing an order.

7. Return and Refund Policy

• The following conditions must be met to be eligible for a refund:
• If you decide to cancel your order with the supplier after placing it but before the purchased product is shipped, you may request a refund directly from the supplier via the site/application platform.
• Refund conditions after shipment:
  • Product not received: You have not received the product you purchased and paid for.
  • Unauthorized purchase transaction: If you did not authorize the purchase and it is verified by Global Sources, a billing error has occurred.
  • Wrong product received: If you receive a product that does not match the product description at the time of purchase, the product must be unused and in the same condition as when received. In this case, the product should be returned to the supplier within the refund period subsequently agreed upon between the supplier and the buyer. The buyer is responsible for returning the product to the supplier's designated address.
• Processing time:
  • Supplier accepts the refund request: The supplier will process the refund immediately, and you will receive a full refund via the original payment method within 30 days.
  • No response from supplier: If the supplier does not respond to the refund request from Global Sources and/or the buyer, we will take the necessary steps to process the refund, and you will receive a full refund via the original payment method within 30 days.
  • Refund request rejected by supplier: The buyer may choose to initiate a refund request via PayPal in accordance with all applicable terms and conditions.

8. General Terms

• This site/application may contain links to other websites or resources not operated or prepared by Global Sources. We have no control over such websites and resources, and accept no responsibility for them, nor for any loss or damage caused or alleged to be caused by your use of them. Global Sources is not responsible for the content or accuracy of any off-site pages (including, but not limited to, advertisers on this site/application). Use of such external websites or resources is at your own risk and subject to the terms and conditions of use for each such site.
• You agree that if you or anyone else uses your account and/or your personal information to access the site/application in violation of these terms and conditions, you will immediately indemnify us, our agents, officers, directors, and employees for all claims, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) upon request. Except for the warranties stated in these terms and conditions, Global Sources makes no other express or implied warranties, and expressly disclaims all implied warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we provide no warranty, express or implied, for any products or services provided by Global Sources and/or suppliers. We shall not be liable (whether in contract, tort (including but not limited to negligence), pre-contract or other representations (other than fraudulent or negligent misrepresentation), or otherwise in connection with these terms and conditions) for: (i) any economic loss (including but not limited to loss of revenue, profits, contracts, business, or anticipated savings); or (ii) any loss of goodwill or reputation; or (iii) any special or indirect loss arising out of or in connection with any matter under these terms and conditions. Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or the negligence of our agents or employees.
• Any waiver by us shall not be interpreted as a waiver of any rights with respect to any violation of these terms and conditions.
• If any provision of these terms and conditions is deemed illegal, invalid, or unenforceable for any reason, such provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
• These terms and conditions govern the relationship between us and you. You agree that you have not relied on any representation other than those contained in these terms and conditions. Nothing in these terms and conditions limits or excludes our liability for any fraudulent or negligent misrepresentation.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

• These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
